This mobile virus protection software offers antivirus and antispam protection, along with a few key features. This application is only available for Android devices, which we were disappointed to see. Also, it doesn't offer an advanced and extensive feature set that you will find on several similar products. If you are looking for a basic mobile security application that offers just a few features, this application may be worth your consideration.

This mobile virus protection software offers basic protection against malware that threaten the information stored on your smartphone. This application features antivirus protection that offers security for your smartphone to guard it against viruses, worms and other forms of malware. It also provides antispam protection to detect any spam that may make its way onto your phone through email, text messages and other methods.

Unfortunately, Webroot Secure Anywhere Mobile does not offer any type of firewall tools. It does not offer strong protection against hackers and other cybercriminals who may attempt to steal the personal information you have stored on your phone. Also, there is no quarantine section for any suspicious files that are discovered on your smartphone.

As we mentioned before, there is not a large selection of features available on this application. There are a few anti-loss and anti-theft tools. You can use GPS to track a misplaced smartphone or lock the device, restricting all access to your data unless a correct password is entered. You can even wipe the device clean, deleting all data stored on the device. These tools can all be done through your Webroot online account.

There is an application inspector available on this mobile virus protection software. This feature carefully examines each app that you download and install on the device and looks for apps that contain any suspicious files. It also monitors your battery status and the battery usage of each app.

There are no parental controls available on this application, which we see as a drawback. You also cannot create a white list. A white list is a group of trusted individuals from whom you want to receive all emails, phone calls and text messages, no matter what.

Even though Webroot doesn't offer a large selection of features and tools, it does provide strong customer support. Webroot has email, telephone and online chat support for you to contact a technical support representative if problems, concerns or questions arise. The Webroot website also provides a FAQs section and a user forum for additional assistance and help from other Webroot users. The only drawback we found to the technical help and support is that there is no access to a user manual on the Webroot website.
